The Out and Abouters – committee arranges days out and holidays, for members and friends of the Church, in conjunction with a local coach operator.
The Luncheon Club – meet every Wednesday at 12.30 pm in the Church halls. The club is open to everyone but numbers are limited to 40 and there is usually a waiting list.
The Monday Fellowship – meetings are held fortnightly on Monday afternoons at 2:00 pm and consist of a talk by a guest speaker followed by discussion and coffee.
Modern Believers – meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm in the Church vestibule and is a way of sharing different views and concerns on matters of faith and reason in a spirit of openness and trust.
The Badminton Club – has two sections. Ladies meet on Thursday between 10:00 am and noon and a mixed section meet on the same day between 7:30 pm and 10:00 pm.
The Book Club – meets every alternate month in the Church halls. There are about 12 members and the book for discussion is chosen by one of the group.
The Watercolour Painting Group – meets in Room A every Friday at 10:00 am. Subjects range from landscapes and portraits to still life. The group is currently full.
The Gardening Group – are volunteers who manage the care of our Church grounds and meet every Friday morning at 10:00 am to carry out a range of necessary jobs and make time for a midmorning coffee and chat.
The Bowling Club – play short mat bowls in the church halls, purely for pleasure and meet on Tuesdays between September and April from 2.00 to 4.00 pm.
The Quilting Group – consists of about a dozen people who meet on the morning of the first Tuesday of each month in a member’s home for patchwork quilting, coffee and chat.
