Funding The Future Appeal

Funding The Future Appeal

We have raised almost £7,000 since April 2020 which is an amazing achievement during the pandemic.  Our biggest money raiser so far was our sponsored walk in August 2020, closely followed by our jam jar receipts, a very popular Summer Concert and delicious Christmas Cakes. Everything we raise helps us to further redevelop our community spaces to make them user-friendly and fit for the 21st century.

How to Make a Donation

If you would like to make a donation towards our Fundraising Appeal, please choose Make a Donation button below to go to our online giving page, then choose the ‘Fundraising’ button.  A donation to our appeal, no matter how big or small makes an amazing difference and we are immensely grateful to everyone who supports us, crucial in these tricky times.  Thank You.

Dates for your Diary!

Join us for a fascinating evening on Thursday 18th March at 6:30pm hearing lesser known tales of The Titanic from expert speaker Sue Holden.  All you need to join in is a Zoom link (to be sent out soon by the Church office), a glass of wine and something to nibble.  Your contributions in appreciation of the event are invited to swell our Funding the Future Appeal.

The Undercroft Development Project

In 2017, work began to develop the Undercroft area beneath our church to create a welcoming meeting place for our local community.  We gathered views from our stakeholders; our church community, students and teachers from Wilmslow High School, neighbours on Chapel Lane and community groups.  It was clear that a modern, flexible space where people of all ages could meet together would be well used.

In December 2017, the Undercroft opened as a modern, well equipped space with a large café, two smaller meeting rooms and a bright, friendly atmosphere.  It works well for a wide variety of events from after school activities for young people to a comfortable, friendly morning café for passers by and regulars of all ages.
